Join us at The Literary Hideaway for a morning of stories, imagination, and fun! Our children’s storytime is a chance for little readers to enjoy a few favorite books, make new friends, and fall in love with the magic of reading.

Working on a writing project? Join Kate at The Literary Hideaway for an evening dedicated to putting words on the page!

Bring your current project, grab a drink or a bite from our cafe, and spend some time writing alongside fellow writers in our bookstore.

We’ll be open for our regular business hours, so feel free to stop in early, browse the shop, or grab a coffee or a drink before the write-in begins at 6 PM!

Join us at The Literary Hideaway for a special musical storytime with The Music Lady, Beverly Meyer. Recommended for ages 2 to 7.

Sing, dance, and move along as stories come to life through music, rhythm, and playful songs in a fun, interactive setting.

Admission is $2.50 per child. Each child attending will need a ticket. Adults do not need to purchase a ticket, but are welcome to attend. Please do not include a ticket for yourself. For example, two children equals two tickets.

Join Toula at The Literary Hideaway for a thoughtful evening centered around The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Through the story of the serviceberry, Kimmerer explores ideas of abundance, reciprocity, generosity, and what we can learn from the natural world. Beautifully written and filled with ideas that invite reflection, it’s a meaningful read with plenty to talk about and take away.

Your ticket is for two readers and includes one copy of the book to share, two light bites, and two non-alcoholic beverages. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase.
